The people, story, and calling behind DSI Ministries.

DSI Ministries began with a simple calling: to share the Gospel, make disciples, and serve people in practical ways. What started with Dennis Stauffer’s desire to teach God’s Word has grown into a family ministry reaching people through DSI Ministries and Hands in Action.

Together with his wife, Maria Luisa, and their children, Dennis continues to lead DSI Ministries as a family on mission—bringing hope, feeding the hungry, making disciples, and changing lives through DSI Ministries and Hands in Action.

Dennis’s ministry journey grew out of a deep commitment to God’s Word. After studying at Charis Bible College, he devoted himself to teaching Scripture with an emphasis on grace, faith, and practical discipleship—helping believers grow in their relationship with Christ and live out what they believe.

For more than 17 years, Dennis and his family have served in Guatemala through DSI Ministries and Hands in Action, leading outreaches, teaching God’s Word, feeding families, and building relationships in communities throughout the country. Over the years, the ministry has grown from simple acts of service into an ongoing work that continues to reach people both spiritually and practically.

Dennis is also the author of The Power of Repentance and Grace and What Voice Are You Listening To? His writing and teaching are an extension of the same calling behind DSI Ministries: helping people understand God’s Word, recognize His grace, and grow into mature disciples of Jesus Christ.

At the heart of DSI Ministries is a simple desire: to follow where God leads, love people well, and leave a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve.
